ABOUT
This website was created by Maki Games, creator of the Makitainer and the Modular Underground Project, to allow late backers who missed our Kickstarter to join the project with all benefits of the Kickstarter backers.

THIS IS NOT THE PLEDGE MANAGER FOR THE MODULAR UNDERGROUND PROJECT

On this website you are not ordering something that already exists. By pledging funds on this website you agree on the terms & conditions described below:

Since the Modular Underground Project was successfully funded, Maki Games will complete the project and fulfill the rewards associated to the pledge levels selected by its backers. Once rewards have been fulfilled no other obligation will be due to its backers. The creation and manufacture of the products will take about 1 year, with an estimated delivery date set to October 2017 as described on the Kickstarter project:

All condition and rules applied to Kickstarter backers also apply to backers who pledge funds on this website. Pledging funds for this project is merely an extension of the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter and allows to enter the same contract existing between Maki Games and the Kickstarter backers. If you are unfamiliar with Kickstarter and crowdfunding we urge you to read all Terms of Use on the Kickstarter Website. For reference you can find the most important information in the Kickstarter Terms of Use cited below:

"4. How Projects Work
Most of our Terms of Use explain your relationship with Kickstarter. This section is different — it explains the relationship between creators and backers of Kickstarter projects, and who’s responsible for what. This is what you’re agreeing to when you create or back a Kickstarter project.
Kickstarter provides a funding platform for creative projects. When a creator posts a project on Kickstarter, they’re inviting other people to form a contract with them. Anyone who backs a project is accepting the creator’s offer, and forming that contract.

Kickstarter is not a part of this contract — the contract is a direct legal agreement between creators and their backers. Here are the terms that govern that agreement:
When a project is successfully funded, the creator must complete the project and fulfill each reward. Once a creator has done so, they’ve satisfied their obligation to their backers.
Throughout the process, creators owe their backers a high standard of effort, honest communication, and a dedication to bringing the project to life. At the same time, backers must understand that when they back a project, they’re helping to create something new — not ordering something that already exists. There may be changes or delays, and there’s a chance something could happen that prevents the creator from being able to finish the project as promised.

There may be changes or delays, and there’s a chance something could happen that prevents the creator from being able to finish the project as promised.
If a creator is unable to complete their project and fulfill rewards, they’ve failed to live up to the basic obligations of this agreement. To right this, they must make every reasonable effort to find another way of bringing the project to the best possible conclusion for backers. A creator in this position has only remedied the situation and met their obligations to backers if:
-
they post an update that explains what work has been done, how funds were used, and what prevents them from finishing the project as planned;
-
they work diligently and in good faith to bring the project to the best possible conclusion in a timeframe that’s communicated to backers;
-
they’re able to demonstrate that they’ve used funds appropriately and made every reasonable effort to complete the project as promised;
-
they’ve been honest, and have made no material misrepresentations in their communication to backers; and
-
they offer to return any remaining funds to backers who have not received their reward (in proportion to the amounts pledged), or else explain how those funds will be used to complete the project in some alternate form.
The creator is solely responsible for fulfilling the promises made in their project. If they’re unable to satisfy the terms of this agreement, they may be subject to legal action by backers." [Kickstarter Terms of Use]

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Modular Underground Project is a brand new hard plastic terrain to create three dimensional dungeons for 25-35mm games. Players will be able to quickly create a dungeon for their RPG sessions. It also works perfectly for wargamers seeking battle in different settings, since it can be assembled into a traditional dungeon or into multi level structures. Our product has two main differences with our competitors: it will allow you to build multi-level structures with highly detailed components and it will be lighter and easier to transport. It is the original dungeon that introduced the concept of dynamic walls.

Below are three good reasons for you to support our project:
1) You will help us to bring the product to market faster! We need your help to pay for the expensive steel molds necessary to create this finely detailed kit in hard plastic. Without Kickstarter it would take much longer to launch our new product.
2) You will get new items and freebies!
A successful Kickstarter will allow us to produce new items for our terrain. In addition, by unlocking our stretch goals, you will get a lot of free items, expanding your dungeon while saving money.

3) You will get the product before everyone else!
Backing this project you will be the ambassador of our new line of products. This means you can boast when you invite your friends over to play with your Modular Underground Dungeon and you can help us spread the word on the quality of our terrain.

All boxed sets created with this Kickstarter will be manufactured in high impact polystyrene, a hard plastic like the one used in top quality miniature games. We have chosen to use hard plastic because it allows to produce parts with fine details which are also durable and sturdy. This product is based on the original sculpts and design of Manorhouse Workshop. The original design was developed jointly during a partnership that ended in July 2016. However in the past year the product has been improved by Maki Games both in the aesthetics of the parts and in its modularity. The new system allows to stack floors on top of the walls, giving you the chance to build multi-level dungeons which are more stable than before. In addition thanks to the new symmetric floors it will be easier to assemble walls and to change the configuration of your dungeons without changing the position of the floors.
